You can purchase your club membership well before you're ready to get a club permit. You can submit your application whenever you're ready.

Please make yourself familiar with the VicRoads Club Permit Scheme as well as its rules and regulations.

For new club permits:

You will need a valid Roadworthy Certificate for the vehicle.

We will email you instructions and a webform immediately after you pay for your membership. 

Once you have submitted the webform, we will check your application details and email you signed paperwork.
You will need to print and take the forms to VicRoads along with your Roadworthy Certificate to collect your Club Plates and logbook.

We'll usually have your application signed off within 24 hours of submission.

You do not need to take the vehicle to VicRoads.

For transferring existing club permits:

You do NOT need a Roadworthy Certificate.

Club permit must be under your name at the other club.

We will email you instructions and a webform immediately after you pay for your membership.

Once you have submitted the webform, we will check your application details and email you signed paperwork.

Once signed off, We can submit the transfer to VicRoads for you - however, this can take 4 weeks for VicRoads to complete then another 4 weeks for your renewal to be posted out, so if you are running within 2 months of your renewal we recommend taking the forms into a VicRoads office for on the spot transfer and renewal.

VicRoads will move your club permit over to our club, you do not need to notify or communicate with your old club.

For both transferring and new permits:

We require current photographs of the following:

• Front of vehicle
• Both sides of vehicle
• Rear of vehicle
• Engine Bay
• Driving position (Side on with the driver's door open)
• Chassis/VIN number
• Build & compliance plates (normally on firewall in engine bay)
• Engine number (if accessible)
• Driver's licence (front and back)
• Roadworthy certificate (for new permits)
• VASS certificate (if the vehicle has one)

Renewals:

You will receive a renewal notice in the mail from VicRoads, usually about 4-6 weeks before it's due, simply fill out the renewal webform online and we'll email you back everything you need. 

Club permit renewals can be submitted to VicRoads online or completed in person at a VicRoads service centre.

Membership alterations and cancellations:

If you need to change payment details, add/remove vehicles, modify or cancel your membership - simply email us at admin@vicclubrego.com.au

Annual memberships are paid in advance and are non-refundable, any changes will take place on the next renewal.

In person physical inspections and full concierge service:

We can come to you or meet you to physically inspect your vehicle and complete the paperwork on the spot. This is useful for:

• Vehicles manufactured on and before 12/1948 as they do not require a roadworthy certificate
• Owners that do not wish to complete webform and photo upload digitally and do not have access to a printer

Additionally, We can also provide a full concierge service for owners that would like to avoid picking up their plates from VicRoads. In summary, we will inspect the vehicle in person, take the required photos, complete the paperwork, file the paperwork at VicRoads on your behalf and deliver you the number plates.

These services are an additional cost and vary by vehicle and location. Please send us an email and we will prepare a quote for you.
